Hox genes

So Im at the library trying to write a capstone biology research paper. Hox genes huh? For those who don't know they control limb formation in animals. It is the gene that says your arm connects to your shoulder and your leg connects to your torso. Researchers play with it to give fruitflies mutant powers like legs on their head instead of antennea or 6 wings on thier back or an extra set of legs. Freaks. Anyways research in this field will help developmental biologists to understand limb mutations. Cheers.
