Just finished The Life of Frederick Douglass today at work. Final thoughts: It was deffiantly an eye opener into American history. I would deffinatly say it was one of the most influential books I have read, not because it was well written, but because the fact that it is a history of slavery written from the point of the slave. I listened to it as book on tape today at work. Im going to try to do a book a day at work- all of which are "the classics". Wish me luck.
